Love 'n bike stories, part 1
hihi, sometimes my love's mind is high in the sky. In Dutch they say "een ezel stoot zich geen twee keer aan dezelfde steen", but my love does. Does this mean my sweetie is a donkey? Not really, but still... It makes me laugh, the stupid things he sometimes does. Like yesterday. Since I have some days off, he comes home from work at noon to have lunch together and at 12:45 he leaves for work again. Because we live in the same town as my boyfriends office, he takes the bike to go to work. Our bikes are 'stationed' in our hall, as we have no garage or what so ever next to the house. Anyway, when he comes back home for lunch, my sweetie darling puts his bike just in front of the house. Easy. But yesterday, when he left to go back to work, he took the bike from the hall. When the doorbell rang, just after he left the house I was sure he forgot something. But no way, when I opened the door, he took back in the bike he had just taken out. Strange! He looked at me with a glance of shame in his eyes and before he even could explain why he took back in the bike, I saw him standing with MY BIKE in his hand. Very funny sight, because my boyfriend is 1,90m high and has therefore a bigger bike than I have. And of course his bike is a male one and mine is definitely female. Well, I had a good laugh and he laughed with his own stupidity. Anyway, the story isn't finished yet. Today same thing! He comes back home for lunch, wants to take off for work at about 12:45 and again he takes MY BIKE standing in the hall while his bike is just in front of the house. And more funny for me, more stupid for him: he already cycled a few meters on my bike, wandering why the hell 'his' bike was so small! How high in de sky can you be on a Friday at noon?! Thanks again for a good laugh, my love!!!! ;-)
